Hidayat

Hidayat is one of place which there is the funeral of great clerical in Riau provinces. Usually, people go there because of they want to visit the funeral or they have intention or vow to visit that place. We just can go to Hidayat by sea, no land road. If we want to go to Hidayat, we use boat or ship. It needs six hours to arrive there from Jambi. Three hours to go to Kuala Tungkal by land road, then three hours from Kuala Tungkal to Hidayat by sea (boat).
Actually, I have gone to Hidayat four times. I went to that place with my family to visit the funeral of great clerical. And the last time I went to Hidayat was when I was in Senior High School. We use boat to go there. Lots of beautiful scenery along the way we went there. My brother and I stand up holding the iron of the boat to see the scenery. It was very f un.
We arrived at the harbor of Hidayat. The funeral of great clerical is far enough from the harbor. So, we used motorcycle taxi to go there. After we arrived in the funeral, we take a rest in one of home resident which beside the funeral. Many people were there. They also want to visit the funeral. Then, we went to the funeral of great clerical together. We read yasin in the funeral to pray the great clerical. Interesting, many children like begging for pennies in front of the funeral. We have to prepare pennies to go to Hidayat. Because, it is one of traditions there.
We back to the home beside the funeral. Because in the home were sold souvenirs which religious. My mother bought its to give to my other family in my village. Then, we came back to our house. It is one of interesting place that I want to go there again. And I have the intention if I graduated from this university, I will visit that place again.
