ME AND THE FROG

Sunday, 24 July 2011 I was in my village. My village is 100 kilometers from Jambi. it needs 2 hours from my village to Jambi. At the day I want to come back to Jambi. Necessarily, I went in the morning but I was rather ill, so I pending my journey until the day. At the 01:00 pm I was still not fine. My parents didn’t allow to me doing the journey. They gave suggestion about Monday I back to Jambi. In the first I refused the suggestion because I had many homework and I should be in the class writing on Monday at 08:00 am. So, what time I can go and be in the class. But then I thought I can go at least at 06:00 am tomorrow.
Next day, my mother called me at 04:45 am. I was so lazy to wake up but then I woke up and prepared to back to Jambi. At 05:15 I began to go my journey. Twenty minutes on the way, the rain fell very heavy. I stopped my journey and stayed in front of a small house. I waited the rain stop. My mind always thinks how I can be in the class writing today if the rain doesn’t stop. I was chagrined didn’t come back yesterday. As long as nearly an hour I was there, the rain doesn’t stop. I think I will be late or I will not come to the class writing today. Suddenly, there was a frog closer to me. I looked at it. It paused looking at the rain that fallen. I kept looking at it. Then I talked to the frog, “frog please says to God to stop this rain. I have to go to Jambi now, I have to be in the class writing this morning, I have so many homework and I don’t do it yet. Please frog says to anyone or anything. Please … !!”. amazing !!! the frog looked at me, it seemed understand what I say to it. I repeated my expression again. And promised to the frog if the rain stopped I will make my journal writing about the frog. It kept looked at me. But then the frog went to beside of the house. After the frog went, the rain was more subside. I saw the frog again and said thanks to it. I continued my journey. On the way I always think how to put “ the frog” in my writing.
I arrived in Jambi and I can be in class writing at the day (although come late) thanks to the frog. So, now I want to keep my promise to the frog. I almost done write my writing about it.
